Alcohol and Other Drugs – System Reform Research Grants

Make sure you:

• Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) System Reform Research Grants Guidelines
• Download and complete a budget proposal using the template provided on the Queensland Mental Health Commission website
• Attend the Briefing Session on Wednesday 4 February at 2:30PM (AEST)

Complete all fields in the application form, then UPLOAD a completed copy of your Budget Proposal and Timeline at Page 9, BEFORE you submit your final application form. 

Any additional attachments such as letters of support can also be uploaded at Page 9.

Applications open at 10:00am on Tuesday 27 January 2026

An online Briefing Session will held via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 4 February 2026 at 2:30PM (AEST)

*Please note, the Grant Guidelines document for AOD Research Grants has been updated. The section '4.2 Who is not eligible to apply?' has been amended to remove the eligibility exclusion for Local, State, or Commonwealth Government agencies/statutory entities as of the 2nd of February 2026.
